FAQ

Is a CircuitProof report a P.Eng / PE stamp?

No. It is design documentation generated from your input and published codes. It does not substitute for a Professional Engineer's stamp where one is required. Verify with a licensed professional before installation.

Is the math accurate?

The formulas are transcribed directly from the published codes (NEC, ABYC) and unit-tested against textbook worked examples. The underlying code tables are pending sign-off by a licensed professional — until then, treat output as a strong first pass, not a certified result.

Can I use this for insurance or an AHJ?

It produces the kind of documentation that aids an insurer's or AHJ's review — one-line diagram, BOM, calculation appendix with citations. Final approval always rests with the AHJ or carrier.

What codes are supported?

NEC 690/706/710 and ABYC E-11 today. ISO 13297 and AS/NZS 3001 are on the roadmap.

What's free?

Three projects with watermarked PDFs, the full calculator, and the compliance checker. Pro removes the watermark and the project limit.

Is my data private?

Yes — every table is row-level-secured to your account, and you can export or delete everything from Account Settings. See /trust.
