Getting started

CircuitProof turns your panels, batteries, inverters, and loads into a code-aware one-line diagram, a bill of materials, and a compliance report — with every number citing the NEC or ABYC clause it came from.

The 60-second loop

  1. Sign up free, or open the wire-size calculator without an account.
  2. Create a design — or start from a template (van, off-grid cabin, sailboat).
  3. Drag components onto the canvas and wire them together. Each connection is sized live.
  4. Press Run check for advisory ABYC/NEC findings.
  5. Generate a PDF report (one-line diagram, BOM, calculation appendix, disclaimer).

What it computes

Conductor ampacity, voltage drop, minimum wire size, overcurrent (fuse/breaker) selection, battery-bank capacity, inverter sizing, and solar array/controller sizing — see the calculator reference for the exact formula and code citation behind each.

CircuitProof produces design documentation, not a stamped plan set, and carries no P.Eng or PE seal. Values are cited to section numbers only — code text is not reproduced. Requirements vary by edition and jurisdiction and the authority having jurisdiction may amend or interpret them, so acceptance is never guaranteed. The licensed person who signs and submits the work remains responsible for verifying every number against the currently adopted code. Marine (ABYC E-11) output is DRAFT pending licensed sign-off.
